This bird feeder has strong suction cups. I washed the window nice and clean and then wet the suction cups a bit and it has stayed in place beautifully. I love that I can get up close and see their markings without scaring them. I have been surprised that the birds actually go inside and jump around to eat.
This really makes me happy. The front piece with the holes in it is optional but I find it protects the seed from getting wet. I have suet nearby for the larger birds. I highly recommend this feeder. It will certainly brighten my spirits during winter. I took really good care of it. The suction cups do not fail to hold this up and with the front tray on, it really protects the food from getting wet.
My complaint is that the item should at least last a season before falling apart. The change that would make this a really great feeder is a heavier gauge of plastic that can hold the weight of the 3 compartments of food.
One other funny thing to mention is even though we live in the city, we had a medium sized bear visit. He pulled the shepherds hook to the ground and ate all the suet and birdseed but he could not reach this feeder suctioned to the window. He tried so hard to climb the siding to get it so this is another plus for this feeder. This is my honest review. I wish it lasted longer. We have glued it and supported that with tape. That failed to help.

Very well made product, suction works great, tested it because I wanted to move it and it was very well stuck on and it stuck back on just as easy as the first time. Just hope the birds like it as much as I do. By James McBride on September 19, Thinking of buying a few more!

Otherwise I'm very impressed. One person found this helpful. Bought as a gift and he loves it. We have lots of birds that use it. Enjoy hours of bird watching.
